Access follows the owner

A consumer can control the data that belongs to them. A service provider can configure the application. Those are not the same right, and they should not collapse into one login.

Synx Pass is where people, services, and machines are recognized. Access follows the owner of the source. It is not a standing permission stored in the middle for anyone who once connected.

When a source is transferred, the next holder receives it. The previous holder does not keep a silent copy of the stream. The network had nothing of its own to retain.

Identity here is small on purpose. It answers who may connect, and who may not. The data stays where the ownership says it stays.
