The World Wide Web made documents addressable. A person could publish a page, and another person could open it. That was enough when the reader was human.

A machine does not need the page. It needs to know that something just changed: a temperature, a door, a price, a position. Asking again and again is a poor substitute for being told.

The Real Time Web is built around that difference. A resource keeps an address. The data stays with its owner. Authorized services subscribe, and the update arrives when the state actually changes.

Synx is the set of tools for that work. DNS names the resource. BIOS operates it. Pass decides who may connect. Skalle helps a person, or another model, describe the service instead of wiring every connection by hand.

The page can still exist. It is no longer the point.
